Yuki Usagi — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is the best kakigori I've so far in Japan. The flavours were delicious and the ice perfectly fluffy. I had Yuzu with condensed milk and yoghurt on the side. It all tasted amazing together. I sat at the counter but there are also tables as well as a couple outside. Plenty of space to park bikes out the front. The main menus are in Japanese but they have an English menu as well. You can help yourself to tea or water. The atmosphere was wonderful - felt like an old world cafe without the over the top trendy feel so many places have. ...

The first time I went it was too crowded and I gave up, but the second time was on a rainy day in early fall and there was no line. However the table was a little grimy feeling and the waitress was cold and wouldn't answer our questions about the menu unless we went up to the register (where you have to order). I went on a day that was 60 F outside but the store was still packed with people (no crazy lines though at least!). I got the seasonal pumpkin cream caramel shaved ice and it was super delicious!!!! The thing is HUGE! Be sure to also check their “ura menu” (today’s special) that has some odd stuff that may be fun to try... like the cream corn shaved ice that...
