Lotus Baguette | Megurogawa — Restaurant in Tokyo

A pretty decent bakery. I ordered sandwich 🥪 and bagel 🥯 delivery from them via Uber Eats. I wouldn’t say they were amazing, but they were quite good. The sandwiches had a lot of filling, but the bread could have been toasted a bit more. Instead of regular fries 🍟, they include crispy sweet potato 🍠 fries. However, they taste exactly like the ones sold in convenience stores, so they probably don’t make them in-house. They also include two black olives 🫒 with the order.

A heads-up for those who don’t like onions 🧅—they do warn you, but there’s almost half an onion in every sandwich.

The bagels 🥯 were actually really tasty. What’s rare to find is that the butter & salt bagel actually had butter inside and a noticeable amount of salt. Though, I’d prefer if the salt was inside the bagel so it wouldn’t fall off...

We happened to find a delightful little cafe called Lotus Baguette while strolling along the Meguro river. Where we stopped and had a sandwich and an excellent smoothie. There is no seating inside and we got to enjoy a moment of pause while sat outside. Drinks, food and service...

I had their croissant, bagel, banana cake, and matcha red bean bun. All of them have exceeded my expectations and are up in the upper class in my 30+ years of having bread. Will definitely revisit...
