Had a wonderful dinner here with a friend. I ordered the pho dac biet which came out to be a satisfying size (I think the normal size would've been a bit too small for me but more appropriate for smaller eaters). The flavor of the broth was, dare I say, my favorite I've had so far in Japan. It had a good balance of sweetness that I think is absent from the more northern style phos available in Tokyo.
I really think this restaurant could be so perfect but I just had a few points that could be easily improved: The banh hoi was also delicious but could have come with either more vegetables or rice paper to make wraps (I think it's quite strange to serve banh hoi without being able to wrap it...)
