This place is so so. Pros: cheap and wide range of selections. Cons: average quality sushi in terms of taste and freshness, and the queue is really long.
Being the sushi enthusiast that we are, when I saw this massively long queue to this sushi train, I told myself I must get in to try.
So the next day I came at 10.50am to start queuing as the restaurant opens at 11am everyday. At the time the queue was really long already. Luckily we just made the cut, and managed to secure the final few seats. We were sooo excited so we started grabbing plates after plates from the conveyor belt. But then after trying the sushi, we were like, hmmm... this is so so, not great. Then we calmed down and started looking around. We saw a lot of tables ordering from the menu, and the chef made fresh stuff for them. So we were like, this must be the way. We then ordered a bunch of stuff using their iPad. Stuff came out fresh from the “freezer”. My husband had so really hard to go down chutoro as they were half frozen. Guess if we waited for another 15’ for the sushi to “cool down” then it would be better.
Overall, I would not go back. The queue is too long for something pretty average. For overseas tourists, I suggest that you go to a small standing sushi bar where the sushi chef makes it fresh as you order and folk out a...

Atmosphere is top-notch. Expert sushi chefs are places in the very center of the restaurant, being all the customers sit down around them. You’ll see them chopping fish and preparing nigiris and sashimi galore. From time to time you can even witness them taking live fish out of a water tank and “prepare” them. No anesthesia.
Flavorwise, the food here is excellent. No other way to put it. Rations are really big, delicious and you can find almost any kind of fish. The price is also really cheap, which completely rounds up the deal.
The access is very easy, right at the train station. Perfect place when commuting.
Waiting times are usually +15min, unless you go alone. Sitting in groups can be challenging so be patient and expect to sit one next to the other.
Overall, I’d completely come back. They even offer their sushi to take away, so even if you don’t want to sit down you can...
