I recently had the pleasure of dining at Meat Winery, a steakhouse that has quickly become my favorite spot since moving to this area from Kentucky, USA. From the moment we walked in, the experience was exceptional. The meat they serve at Meat Winery is nothing short of outstanding, perfectly cooked and incredibly flavorful. It's a delightful departure from what I was accustomed to, even back in Kentucky. Moreover, the extensive wine selection was a pleasant surprise, offering the perfect pairings for our steaks. The knowledgeable staff guided us through the wine options, enhancing our dining experience. What truly stood out was the superior service - the waitstaff was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. Needless to say, we can't wait to return to Meat Winery for more memorable dining experiences in the future.
In summary, Meat Winery not only delivers delicious and expertly prepared meats but also offers an exceptional wine selection and top-notch service. It has become a cherished dining destination for us since our move, and we're eagerly looking forward to returning for more delectable meals and the warm hospitality that sets this...
Read moreI went with my husband & 18 year old son who are both big meat eaters-we LOVED it! The staff was extremely helpful & friendly. The meat was outrageously tender & delicious-it was aged perfectly!! It was a cute spot (above ground level) & was quiet and cozy inside. It was VERY reasonable price wise. We all ordered beef and each of us got a different cut to share (loin, skirt & center). We also got tossed salad, as well as the tomato carpaccio (mozzarella, pesto & tomato) and sodas. It also comes with as much rice as you want. The presentation was beautiful; each steak came on its own wooden board with a piece of fried chicken wing (so crisp!), 1/2 grilled onion (AMAZING-my husband was addicted!) as well as some coarse mustard, & wasabi & sea salt to put on the beef. One steak even had fried potatoes on its board. There was a lovely reduced sauce for the beef as well. We had all of this for under 90 USD which is absolutely incredible! Don’t know why this only had 3 1/2 stars when I looked it up-I am a professional chef & I know good quality when I taste it! Meat & Winery served THE best meal we had in while...
Read moreThe stars are completely overrated. A complete lie. There was only one overworked waitress, one bartender and one chef. We were not offered water. Had to try multiple times to get the waitresses attention. The waitress didn’t understand English and another customer had to translate for us (not her fault, not really the issue in consideration). The wait times were ridiculous, the waitress was stressed and overworked despite not being at all busy. They forgot two of our orders - beer and a sirloin steak. Offered no compensation. The dry aged steak was very, very, very dry and while definitely cooked “medium”, it was it was excessively tough, I’m suspecting obviously poor quality meat. If I’m paying a decent price; I expect the steak to melt in my mouth like ripe avocado. Speaking of, we got the salad with “avocado” dressing. Apparently that means two tiny slithers. The fries were probably the one saving grace but excessively salty and I love my salt. Cocktail was watered down and...
