Mokichi

Unfortunately our experience at this restaurant was very disappointing. I was excited to eat here from seeing such good reviews but we were let down. To begin with other than the servers pointing to where to sit, we weren't given an English menu and hand towels like others. We couldn't get anyone's attention so we proceeded with the Japanese menu and Google translate. This wasn't a great idea as it failed to translate well and we mistakenly ordered squid and potatoes when the translate only showed potatoes. No alternative food was given and price didn't change. The food was alright, not amazed. At the start of your meal an appetizer is given (omelette) and no one mentions it's not included, as all they mention is that it's an appetizer. This was 380yen per person as we saw when paying for the bill. Foreigner tax 10% and discrimination is very much true as when other Japanese came in after us, they were served before.
