Food: While the name "Monblanc" might conjure up images of a delicate dessert, this restaurant surprised me with a delicious and unique savory option! I opted for the "Taste of Dutch" beef burger, featuring 100% Japanese beef. The star of the show was definitely the cheese! It was incredibly rich and melted beautifully, even bubbling over the edges of the burger in a visually stunning way. The patty itself was cooked perfectly, juicy and flavorful.

Presentation: As mentioned, the presentation of the burger was a highlight. The overflowing cheese created a dramatic and mouthwatering effect.

We happened to be in the area and was looking for a lunch spot so came upon this restaurant with long history.

I know it’s famous for the Japanese style hamburger but I still went for fried oysters plate with side order of corn soup. My partner ordered a sampler plate with hamburger karaage and fried shrimp which was almost everything and about 2300 yeen, a very good deal. But the price was only for a plate. Didn’t come with rice so they offered a set of options. There were rice or salad or bread etc for extra charge.

We waited about 30 minutes and got seated at the counter which was not very comfortable to me. It was very loud not typical Japanese quietness. Personally I wouldn’t wait for this long to sit in that counter seat...
