The way they prepare their char sui blows pretty much everywhere else I've been out of the water, the broth is solid, and the noodles are perfect. Edit: came back and got the charshiu with thin noodles. Basically everything I want in a bowl with solid flavor. Tiny bit of bitterness, but meaty and rich enough to offset it. Read moreChanced upon this ramen place near where we were staying and decided to try it out. The ramen broth is really rich and flavourful, but a bit too oily for my liking. The addition of the green onions really helps to balance out the oil in the soup and add some freshness to the ramen.
The chashu slices are really thick and generous, and you can add on more pieces as well like I did. Some parts might be a bit fatty as well but you can trim off the fat if you want (but make sure not to trim off all of it otherwise the chashu won’t taste as good)

Read moreReally hit the spot. I ordered chashumen - chose thin noodles, katamen, with medium broth. Big pieces of chasu had nice flavoring - lots of meat yet had a bit of fattiness to it. A good amount of menma which made me happy. Available from the counter, I added takana which was kindly spicy and some garlic which enhanced the flavor of the broth. The bowl kept getting better as I ate. Definitely want to come here again.
