Nicola's Pizza House — Restaurant in Tokyo

It's ok. I've had worse pizza in Japan, but not from a pizzeria. Lots of cheese on top, but you are paying for it. コスパよくない。

The original Roppongi branch claimed to be Japan's first American-style pizza restaurant. This shop opened in 1972. It seems a shame to waste that branding on pizza like this. Hit Pizza Slice instead for NY pizza, or Devilcraft for Chicago pizza. I don't know what kind of pizza you'd call this, but I'm not American 🤷‍♂️

We were in the area, and wanted to taste the history of Japan 😆 so went for the pizza, but noticed all of the locals around us were having pasta. Make of that...

Sure the pizza tasted good, but it was tiny and overpriced. The displayed price was not the one given to me at the end, so I ended up paying more unexpectedly. Admittedly, I don't speak or read japanese so maybe there was a fine print I missed. The staff knew a little English...

いつも、土曜日は何故か ご年配の方が多くいらしています🤣 やっぱり、昔からあるから 安心なんだろうね😅 いいと思う、そんな場所。

この日はグラタンランチにしたよ。 なんか、気付いたらグラタン続いてたw ▫チキンとコーンの｢ペンネグラタン｣ サラダ、スープ、デザート🎵 ドリンク付き 💴1000円(税込) ランチは現金支払のみ

▫海の幸のトマトソーススパゲッティ ▫蟹とほうれん草のトマトクリームスパゲッティ 💴各1000円(税込)

☝スパゲッティはサラダ、スープ ドリンク付きで、パスタのg数にて お値段変わってくる、なかなか 面白いシステムを昔からやってる。 80g 800円 100g 900円 120g 1000円 150g 1100円 180g 1200円 だから、今はアレだけど、 シェアしたり、色々使い勝手も 良いのです。。。 もちろん、取り分け用のお皿など ご用意してくれます。

写真のパスタは両方120gのもの。 なかなかのボリューム。 どちらも少しいただきましたが、 美味しかったぁ😍

で、グラタン。 アチアチ,グツグツ、 ビョーンって伸びる チーズ濃厚〜«٩(´ ꒳ `)۶» これよ、これこれ。 グラタンはこーでなきゃ🤣 (๑˙ت˙๑)おいしー😋 そして、パスタランチにはつかない、 自家製デザートがグラタンランチ には付きます😆❤(੭ˊ꒳​ˋ)੭ この日はチョコレートムースでした。

イタリアンでも洋食も充実。 味も良い意味で😊安心安定です😊
