Unless there's some sort of cultural way of charging I'm unaware of in Japan, this place potentially rips off foreigners, so be wary.
When I went, the owner charged his prices per person, which wasn't really clear upfront. So if you're there with 1 other person and you both eat 1 set of takoyaki to share, the menu says it costs 680yen, but he charges 680 x2 = 1360yen because of the 2nd person there. Not sure whether I was scammed or not, but multiplying the entire bill by the number of people you're with doesn't really add up mathematically or make any sense even if you're expecting a sit-in fee.

Either way, scam or no scam, this takoyaki place is way too expensive (1360yen for 8 balls between 2 people) so I can't...
Read moreThis is an awesome hidden spot. It is down a small alley but there is signage so it was easy to find. The owner was very welcoming and helped us pick items through google translate. We had 3 different drinks that were delicious! Ask him what the specialty is and you will be happy. We had never tried takoyaki before and he seemed to have them down to a science. You can watch him cook in front of you. They were delicious, hot, and had a great sauce on them. We also ordered the noodles which were perfectly cooked and seasoned. Everything was priced well, we feel that it was just...
Read moreIncredible service, the owner gets you things like cold towels and water refills for the summer before you even think about asking for it. You can tell he genuinely cares for his customers. Also the atmosphere and music has been exceptionally decorated, he loves rock/metal and wrestling. It floods the walls and the room with great vibes. Haven't tried his famous takoyaki yet but I'm also guessing it's probably perfect too. I was the first customer when he opened so I'm getting insane VIP...
