Oizumi Kojo Nishiazabu — Restaurant in Tokyo

This is a very cute, welcoming, and upbeat organic and vegan grocery/cafe with amazing kombucha and wonderful vegan fare. I got the mild curry (1250 yen) which came with a salad and brown rice and the kombucha flight (1250 yen) that comes with all four of the flavors on tap. The curry was a really well balanced, nutritious and filling meal that went well with the kombucha. The service was so friendly and quick, and if you don't speak Japanese, no worries, the store and staff was super English friendly. The atmosphere was top notch, everything was clean, the music (mainly R&B when I went) was not too loud but enough cover the busy street sounds and give a good vibe. The aesthetics were natural-modern with cute and bright touches. They have free wifi and a power strip readily available for customers if you need to charge up your phone or laptop. Really just so pleasant!

And last but not least, the kombucha. First of all, the flight was very generous and satisfying. The shiso was my favorite but I honestly enjoyed all of the flavors and the kuwa (mulberry leaf) was particularly subtle and unique. They have the brewery on site and offer workshops occasionally; I'm not sure if those are English friendly but if you have decent Japanese ability and love kombucha, it would definitely be a must-go.

As far as accessibility, wheelchair users might find it a bit hard to access, because there is a slight step into the seating area and the aisle leading to the cashier is quite narrow. However, once in the seating area, there is a counter at an adequate height to accommodate a wheelchair. ND folks can largely be at ease here, it's not too busy and you can sit at the lovely counter facing the brewery rather than the street to reduce overstimulation, it's not super loud, etc.

Great place to have kombucha in Tokyo. Nice setting, the place is small but sufficient space for chilling and having a kombucha - or grabbing a bite. They have a selection of dishes that you pick up from the fridge and then they will prepare and present to you in a nice and appealing way. Pricing is reasonable and staff is very attentive and pleasant....
