Our dining experience at Sushi Gonpachi in Shibuya was nothing short of extraordinary. The quality of the food was truly exceptional – every piece of sushi was a testament to the craftsmanship and attention to detail that Sushi Gonpachi is known for. The fish was incredibly fresh, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture, and the flavors were perfectly balanced. Each dish was presented with such artistry that it was almost too beautiful to eat!

The variety of offerings on the menu catered to both traditional tastes and those looking for something a bit more adventurous. We were particularly impressed by the chef’s selection, which showcased a range of exquisite flavors and textures that delighted our palates.

A special thank you to Florin for organizing our evening. His meticulous planning and warm hospitality ensured that our experience was flawless from start to finish.

Sushi Gonpachi in Shibuya is a must-visit for anyone seeking a top-tier sushi experience in Tokyo. We left with full hearts and satisfied appetites, already looking forward to our next visit. Highly...

The main reason we booked this place was to check out the famous "Kill Bill scene" venue, and check out the vegan sushi menu that their sushi restaurant has recently started.

In India, we get really good vegetarian sushi and we were curious to get as close an experience to the authentic Japanese sushi. The sushi was okay, I preferred the Sushi roll to the assortment of vegan Sushi. What my husband and I really, really enjoyed though were the grilled vegetable skewers!

The service was excellent. It helped that the service team could understand and converse in English.

The main restaurant (where the Kill Bill scene is filmed) is on the ground and second floor. The sushi restaurant is separate, and is on...

First time coming here with my boyfriend. We are not from Japan. They sat us right away. The server never came back around to take our order for drinks and we were completely ignored for 30min. That’s when we decided to leave. Maybe they don’t like foreigners. The restaurant was not busy and there was a big family celebrating their son’s birthday. The bald headed white guy look like he was the owner. He must be from Ukraine because there was a flag displayed by the entrance of the restaurant. He was standing and over looking the restaurant and workers. Another couple came after us and they were sat at the bar. And they took their order. So we felt they discriminated against us. Poor...

We ordered some deserts and “Spicy Moscow Mules”. Yuzu Sour and the moscow mule wanabe are both tasteless. Just soda water. Deserts were ok. But since they make you spend a minimum od 1650 yen per person on these bland drinks I had to make this review. I am really disappointed. Even if you served regular moscow mules it would be better than this. I’ve made the same remark to the waitress but of course she didn’t understand and just stood there.

Cool atmosphere. This is the "unique" spot to take tourists. Especially if you are a fan of kill bill or pretend to be one suddenly. Even if you're not, the vibe at dinner when there's a lot of people is really great. The food is ok and not worth the price, but you don't come here for the food. They have signs saying their staff DO NOT wear masks.

Excellent surprise. Heard of this place,, famous for being the set where the Kill Bill sword fight with the crazy 88 was shot. Expected a tourist trap. But the food tasted delicious, service was fast, atmosphere felt special. Special mention for the handmade soba, which you see immediately after you enter the restaurant.
