Tanaka — Restaurant in Tokyo

I had a good bowl of tsukemen and some rice with meat for 1000 yen and a beer for 500 yen. The noodles were the best thing about it. I guess they make it with a mixture of wheat and buckwheat flour and they are really bouncy and delicious. The soup was very mushroomy (I guess it was made with truffle?) with a subtle seafood taste. It wasn't my person favourite but still good.

The staff were efficient and the place was cosy without any pretentions. The only thing that was kind of off was the temperature of the soup was a little room temperature but that can be forgiven, especially given how hot the weather was outside.

All in all a good place with great noodles and a unique soup that is worth a visit if you live...

Delicious! Ramen truffle with seafood broth surprisingly really good it blends well with the bouncy ramen. Lots of locals eat here, use google lens to translate menus, need to pre-purchase the ramen via the machine and hand the tickets to the wait staff. Again, use google lens to translate the writing on the touchscreen pad. Took us 3 minutes till we figured out how to use it and pay cash via the order machine. 場所は、JR山手線「大塚駅」から徒歩10分くらい。東京メトロ有楽町線「東池袋駅」から徒歩10分ちょっと。一番近いのは都電荒川線「向原駅」で、徒歩5分ほどのひっそりと住宅街に佇む店。
