We booked a table well in advance for a birthday celebration for 6 people and a baby and specified the table we would like to sit at. The booking was taken and we really looked forward to going here. However when we came on the day of booking, the table was taken by other guests and no other table was prepared for us. The staff led us to a table for 4 (by toilets) and told us to sit there. It was clearly small for our group and the staff was bringing us foldable very uncomfortable chairs and asked us to sit there, with very little space around the table. When we tried to discuss the situation they were not very helpful and said that was our only option. We were very underwhelmed with this service and disappointed with their approach. It looked to us that they overbooked and thought we will just put up with sitting in a small, crammed place uncomfortably.
We made a decision to leave, which was the best decision we made, went to another restaurant where we were served to the standard that exceeded our expectations. We are very glad we did not spend our money here considering the situation. And they made us felt...
Read moreVisited for the first time a few nights ago and probably won’t be back. The ambiance and interior was very promising, but everything else was disappointing. Not sure if staff were all new, but we waited nearly two hours for a single pizza! We ended up canceling the other one since they hadn’t started making it until we asked about it. The food was taking an extremely long time so we ordered some appetizers while we waited. The pickles took almost 25 minutes just to be plated… The food and pizza especially were average at best and everything was a bit on the salty side. When we got the bill, the staff were not apologetic for the long wait time and still included the service charge. There was no level of service to justify the cost as they consistently forgot to refill waters and basic cutlery/おしぼりto our table. At least most places that charge a table/service charge would include some sort of お通し、、、 Definitely overpriced — save your time and money by going...
Read moreTheir Margherita pizza was a beautifully simple classic done right. The crust was lightly charred with a perfect balance of chewiness and crispness. The tomato sauce was bright and fresh, while the mozzarella melted softly across the surface. Fresh basil leaves added just the right amount of aroma. Their Genovese pizza stood out with its vivid flavors. The basil pesto brought a rich, herbaceous kick, complemented by juicy roasted cherry tomatoes and savory cheese. Their signature pizza da Vinci was indulgent and hearty. Topped generously with mushrooms and cheese, it balanced richness with a touch of tang from the egg. The combination felt rustic yet refined, showcasing the chef’s creativity while still being comforting. And side dishes such as that a truffle soup which was a luxurious starter that felt like a warm embrace. The soup was velvety and fragrant with earthy truffles, while its creamy texture...
