I found this ramen place while walking around the neighborhood—it is just two streets away from the hostel that I was staying at.

You order from a machine, which has an option to select English. Take note that they only accept cash.

I usually like spicy ramen, but since it was my first time here, I decided to try the original. I ordered the Arashi Genkotsu Ramen with Pork Soy Sauce flavor and thin noodles, along with a mug of whisky with oolong tea.

The ramen did not disappoint—the noodles and broth were perfect. I just added a bit of chili powder for a little kick.

This is the first ramen place I’ve tried around the Nishikasai area, though there are plenty of other options. Definitely...

I got the pork salt ramen with thin noodles and it was delicious. Should have gone for super spicy for extra kick, but seasonings were at the table for you if need be. One of the employees assisted us when we were trying to place the order on the tablet and was attentive. I also recommend the chicken with cabbage dish. It has a ginger kick to it- the chicken was juicy and tender. ...
