I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights in Rm 522 in late march of 2020. I stayed here as part of a tour group going around Japan.||||The hotel is in a great location. It is only about 500 meters or so from the Ginza shopping street. There are plenty of restaurants and stores around as well. There is a 7-Eleven very close that is above a convenience store but just below a mini market. You can find lots of prepared foods there such as sandwiches, pizzas, etc.. there. There is also an ATM in the 7-Eleven that will accept foreign ATM cards since not all bank ATMs in Japan accept foreign cards. ||||If you go out the back of the hotel and turn left and keep going in that direction you will hit a wide river which has a nice walk along it. I saw men fishing from the side. You will pass I think it was called St. Lukes hospital(thats right is has an English name).||||The hotel is located off the streets but taxis can get to it but not buses. There are two alleys that angle out the front of the hotel to a street. This is the direction you want to go for nearby restaurants and the 7-Eleven.||||The hotel has a good size lobby that is spacious in Japanese terms. You can tell this is above a 3 star hotel by just seeing it. That is my opinion.||||The hotel has a restaurant on the 2nd floor. I had all my breakfasts there. They will give you a choice of Western or Japanese breakfast. The breakfast was good though their eggs are cooked a way I am not used to. The rest was goodl, especially the croissant. I am not certain if they serve other meals but I would not be surprised if they did.||||Upon entering my room my bathroom is on the right. It has a sliding door that closes off the bathroom. Inside the bathroom the shower is on the right. Entering the shower you come immediatley to the shower portion with has a choice of a hand shower head or the shower head in the ceiling. Next to the shower and only accessible via the shower is the Japanese style bath tub(sort of like a half American bath tub with higher walls). In the shower you have access to large bottles of bath gel, shampoo, and conditioner. The bath towels are right above the bathtub after I looked around. The shower and bathtub are enclosed in see-thru plexiglass. Same as the shower door.||||Going past the bathroom you come to the bedroom with the queen size bed on your right. On the left side of the side(furtherest from the bathroom) there is room to easily move around. The right side if I recall is virtually against the well. I did not see any electrical outlets next to the bed but there are light switches for the room.||||Opposite from the foot of the bed is a counter with the LCD TV on top of it. In the corner near the window is a typical hotel desk. There is a row of Type A(two prong) American type plug in(standard in Japan). I would say you could plug in at least 3 in the row if you wanted.||||The TV had only Japanese stations on it except CNN but it was being dubbed in Japanese. There were options on the TV to watch movies, etc. on it as well||||I forgot to mention there is a small refrig under the counter where the TV is located. It is empty and you can put some things in it.||||Overall, this was a very nice hotel to stay at in a great location where you can walk around. I would certainly...

Rating: ★★★★★
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Keihan Tsukiji Grande Hotel during my visit to Tokyo, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience from start to finish. This hotel exceeded my expectations in every way, making my trip all the more enjoyable.
First and foremost, cleanliness is a top priority for me when choosing accommodation, and it did not disappoint. The hotel was spotless, from the lobby to the rooms, creating a welcoming and reassuring atmosphere.
The location of this hotel is simply unbeatable. Situated in the heart of Tsukiji, I was within walking distance of the renowned Tsukiji Outer Fish Market, which was a food lover's paradise. Exploring the nearby park was a delightful experience, and I found myself taking leisurely strolls to unwind after a day of sightseeing.
The staff were not only accommodating but also incredibly friendly. They went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and were always ready with helpful recommendations and a warm smile. Their genuine hospitality truly added to the overall charm of the hotel.
One of the highlights of my stay was the amazing service provided. Whether I needed assistance with transportation, restaurant reservations, or general inquiries, the hotel staff was prompt and efficient in addressing my needs. It made my stay stress-free and enjoyable.
The buffet breakfast offered by the hotel was nothing short of amazing. The variety of dishes, both Japanese and Western, was impressive, and the quality of the food was top-notch. It was a delightful way to start each day of my stay, and it provided me with the energy needed for exploring Tokyo.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable, offering a welcome retreat after a day of exploring the city. The attention to detail in the room design and amenities was evident, and I appreciated the thought that went into making the stay as enjoyable as possible.
What truly made my stay exceptional was the fact that the price was great. In fact, it was cheaper than many hotels offering much smaller rooms in the same area. The value for money I received at was outstanding, and it made my trip to Tokyo even more enjoyable.
In summary, my stay at Keihan Tsukiji Grande Hotel was an absolute pleasure and excellent value for money. If you're looking for a clean, well-located hotel with friendly staff, amazing service, delicious breakfast options, spacious rooms, easy access to both a park and great food, and a fantastic price, this is the place to stay in Tokyo. I can't wait to return and experience the exceptional hospitality of this...
Read moreThis modern hotel is situated in a quiet side street approximately 5 minutes' walk from the world-famous Tsukiji seafood market, with the Tsukiji metro station 2 minutes' walk, although do beware that many metro stations in Tokyo are not equipped with lifts, so this is something to note when travelling with heavy luggage. ||Rooms in Japan are generally very small, and those at this establishment are no exception. My standard room was very comfortable, however - perfect for a single occupant, equipped with a queen-sized bed with a firm mattress, 4 pillows of 2 different densities, a touch-screen beside panel that controls lighting and cooling/heating, an empty mini-fridge for storing one's own purchases, an electronic safe, a slimline wardrobe and a chair and circular table. Bathroom contained a single sink, a typical electronic toilet with multiple functions and an enclosed "wet area" comprising separate bath and shower with excellent water pressure and wall-mounted toiletry dispensers. The cooling and heating were very responsive and effective, and despite the large numbers of guests checking in and out in the lobby, I rarely heard any ambient noise, and slept very soundly.||Staff were consistently friendly and helpful. Beside the reception counter is a station consisting of several racks of guest supplies such as tea, coffee, sugar and creamer sachets, toothbrushes, shower caps and other essentials, to which guests are invited to help themselves. Check-in and check-out procedures are processed via electronic kiosks, albeit with the guidance of staff. ||Hotels in Tokyo are expensive, yet I was very satisfied with the value provided by this hotel. Nearby are many restaurants and convenience stores, and, tucked away in a side street, it feels part of a neighbourhood (which it is), even though the glitzy Ginza shopping area is an easy 15 minute walk away.||As my flight arrived at Narita Airport, which is much further from the city centre than Haneda Airport, I purchased a ticket on the Keisei Skyliner train for a circa 40-minute journey to Ueno station. Thereafter, I transferred to the local subway for a 7-stop ride to Tsukiji station. Overall, very easy and smooth, though once again, do beware if you have lots of, or heavy luggage, as the subway requires lots of walking up and down stairs. ||I would be delighted to return to this hotel on my next visit to the...
