Excellent service and amazing food, as befitting the ?2 Michelin stars it has earned. The main course and dessert is the highlight, with quality that is simply unmatched by most places. We went with the ?Chef's menu?, which was supposed to be the best they have, I think? We went with champagne, which was extra. Really tasty and a great recommended choice. The starters were so-so. Wasn't a fan of the cold Madeleines, tasted meh and very ordinary. The burdock soup was also so-so. The mains however, were out of this world. French lobster was cooked to perfection. Light, soft yet firm, not the usual tough as nails lobsters you eat on main street. The fish was really AMAZING. I think it was spanish mackerel? It was cooked to perfection. Light and melt in your mouth, it was just unbelievable. The sauce was not overpowering, and brought out the taste of the fish. Last was the tenderloin. Also amazingly prepared. Perfect! So light and easy to eat. Takes so little effort to cut and chew. Again, sauce did not compete with or overwhelm the taste of the beef. Dessert was interesting. There was a small ice cream dessert, I was like, that's a little small for dessert! Then came the real thing. It was a fruit ?pastry, full of luscious cream and fruit, bursting with flavour. We ended with a special petit tres (lol) and it was a wonderful end to the meal. Highly recommended to visit this place. French food in Tokyo...

First the good, I loved the desserts, pumpkin soup and some of the custom fish dishes that were created for the day. The sauces were exquisite for some of them. There were some I didn't like as well but that's a part of it.
This is not necessarily bad, but as it often happens with Michelin restaurants, anything off is really noticeable and tends to ruin the overall experience. I love my meats and was really looking forward to the main course. When I got it, the server said I could eat with my fingers and provided a finger bowl. I tried eating it that way and the lamb was so tough that I could not even chew through and had to put it back which was really awkward , so tough that it took me a while to even cut it with my knife. What irked me was the misleading instructions. If it was meant to be that tough(which I doubt), why ask me to use my fingers. The language barrier unfortunately added to the issue. The lack of any ownership on bringing up the issue was...
