Unfortunately, this hotel did not meet expectations. The staff was kind, but the hygiene and cleanliness in our experience was horrible. We had cockroaches in our room, which is my biggest nightmare because of the fact we had our clothes laid out and had already opened our suitcases before we found them. The staff initially was going to charge us to switch rooms, but after clearing the misunderstanding they quickly took action to move us which we are very appreciative of. Regardless of the room change, both rooms were dirty. Linens were fine, but the carpet was filthy and heavily stained. They could at least shampoo it, or replace it since it’s falling apart. The humidifier amenity in the room was dirty and covered with dust and debris. My husband grabbed a wet wipe to see how dirty it was and the wipe came out black which is frustrating because all it takes is one disinfecting wipe to clean it. The walls have stains and dirt on them, it just made me look forward to leaving to a more clean place. The rooms are quite small as well, we went to Kyoto after that and the room was cheaper and bigger than what we spent at Sotetsu Fresa in roppongi. So for what I paid, I expected a bit more. The self serve breakfast was not desirable. We did not go back after trying it the first day. The eggs and “warm food items” were cold, which was very unpleasant. I do appreciate the staff, I just think the hotel could do a better job at cleanliness because it really ruined our visit. I do...

Read moreLOCATION The location of this hotel is FANTASTIC! Less than one block to Entrance/Exit 5 of Roppongi Station and just as close to Family Mart. There is also a 7-Eleven just a bit further and plenty of food and restaurants nearby for every price range. The proximity to Roppongi Station is a huge plus as it allows you to easily access pretty much all of the greater Tokyo area.
AMENITIES The coin laundry machines are super affordable. They automatically add detergent so you don't need to buy any. There are two washer/dryer combination machines and one stacked washer/dryer. There are also vending machines (including beer!) and a microwave in the same room.
BREAKFAST We opted for the breakfast, which is served in Suzu Cafe on the 1st floor. It was delicious! A nice mix of salad, fried foods (chicken nuggets, gyoza, croquettes, etc), miso soup, rice, yogurt, coffee, tea, juice...we stayed for a week and enjoyed breakfast each morning.
SERVICE Wonderful service! The staff is helpful and polite.
ROOMS The rooms are small by Western standards but pretty typical for Japanese hotels in the Tokyo area. I recommend using the space under the bed to store your suitcases. We did so and it freed up a lot of space. The bed was incredibly hard, which honestly, is my only complaint.
OVERALL Highly recommend! Super convenient and would stay again. Definitely get...
