To start off positive: the location is great. The metro station and a Family Mart are less than 50 metres away, a 7/11 is very nearby as well and the metro lines will get you basically anywhere.
The room was clean and kept clean well, it had some mold on the window sill, but that happens in humid environments, I suppose. New towels and toothbrushes (including toothpaste) were re-filled each morning and the garbage was taken out. Even though we did not need new toothbrushes and toothpaste everyday (we had our own, so we thought it was a bit wasteful), it does provide good service for lightly packed travellers.
Then, to continue to the less positive parts: the room was really, really small. We knew it would not be big, we didn't expect that and didn't need a big room, but it is much smaller than the pictures and description suggest. The bathroom is half of the room, taking up more space than needed; the floor plan is super inefficient. Because of this, the room feels quite claustrophobic: we bumped our elbows and knees occasionally and did not even have enough room to put our suitcases in (which were a bit under 150 cm in total each; so not that big for people who are travelling for a longer period of time). We also were annoyed by the 'laundry room'. As mentioned in other reviews, the dryer basically did not dry and there was only one dryer and laundromat for the entire hotel. The instructions on the laundromat were also unclear to people who have not used that specific kind of laundromat before, which led to us basically wasting our money on it.
When asking the staff what to do, they were not super helpful: they came along to the room with us, stood there for some time, went to catch someone else, who then told us that we should just wait 30 minutes until the washer was done and try again. So we waited 10 minutes without really any more info or help than what we figured out ourselves. The service was thus not very great, it was not bad either, but we were not very enthusiastic about it.
Lastly, small but annoying: we could not open the window and the room was really humid and stale because of this. The room also smelled a bit weird.
So, all in all: a great hotel for the location and if you spend not that much time in the room, but it does have...
Read moreLet me tell you my experience first. First of all, on the day of my check-in, which was September 18th (Monday), around 6:30 local time in the evening, I booked this hotel on Trip.com. I successfully booked it at that time. I received the confirmation email, and my credit card also showed that the money was paid. Then I felt as if I could just go back to the hotel to check-in and check in normally. When I went to the hotel, the hotel staff said I didn’t make a reservation. I was so shocked at the time. All the hotel staff felt that I was in vain. I don’t know why. He had a very bad attitude towards me. His employee’s name was Iwahara. He is really a traditional Japanese guy. He has such a fierce look in his eyes. He has a very bad attitude when he hears us speaking Cantonese, or Mandarin. He is like this to other mainlanders, so I don't mind. It's my fault, but I won't choose to stay in this hotel next time. On the second day, he refused to let me check in because of the booking confirmation problem. I had been taught for several hours that time. I arrived at 11 o'clock, I taught almost a lot It was 12 o'clock or so Go to the room first, The next day at 11 o'clock When I checked out, I was about 5 minutes late, he He immediately called me and asked me if he could check out. If he refused to check out, he would charge me extra money. If he stayed, I would tell him what time your late colleague would check in before me. Do you know? After that, they didn’t dare to ask me for money again! I will definitely not stay in this hotel again. Looking at the price, this is Roppongi. It costs over 800, 900 per night. It is really outrageous. There will be no next time! I don’t remember the environment of the movie hotel room. The environment was quite shabby. I was really in a hurry that night, and he had a room nearby, so I had no choice but to move in. There was nothing nearby. It's OK, but there's nothing to do, and there aren't many restaurant choices. So I'd like to say again and again that it's really not a good idea to stay...
