Famous local dessert shop, located only a few minutes walk from both Keisei Ueno and JR Ueno station. Drinks and parfait are incredibly delicious at good prices. Those price are actually a bit more higher than Starbucks but worth the pay. We paid for the Parfait around 800-950 Yen only. Highly recommend the two parfaits I had. Drinks for summer are delicious, highly recommend Matcha latte and yuzu products.

A decent dessert serves there with an affordable price, a soft ice cream with red bean and a pastry only cost less than 500 yen and taste is much better than the trendy dessery like souffle pancake, which is 3 times more expensive than that. They also serve lunch set and it is delicious too. What a perfect match with dessert and set lunch.

Good resturant yo have breakfast pastry tea cofee smoothies or ice cream. Friendly staff. They do speak sufficient english. Usually crowded. Strawberry banana smoothie was very nice. They accept cash and cards. Do have a Toilet in the second floor. Not a very spaciois place is the only concern. 5 minute walk from railway station

I go there when I can't help myself but need a hot chocolate plus a cake and ice-cream on top of it that are acceptable.

The place is really small on the first floor. I have never seen such small tables in my whole life. Fighting the Corona spread in those places is obviously impossible.

Anyway, the hot chocolate is HOT (that's a good point to notice because it's not always the case elsewhere outside Japan I must say) and good. The ice cream on top of a hot cake is good too.

But the hot chocolate (regular) + the cake at 1000+ yen price point makes me cringe.

The staff is just doing their job. Not super friendly, not disrespectful. Just doing their job.

Overall ok, when I need a sugar booster like I do from time to time when I put my strong diet on hold, and when I need a place with a good dessert and no expectations of exceptional service.

I must say on their behalf that the place can be very busy and so I should not expect much. The place is structured to get as many customers per square meter as possible so it shows. I don't think we can put even more people in it. Business-wise I think the place is a good cash cow.

I tend to avoid it now for good diet purposes.

So, my conclusion: -a nice place for a good enough dessert. -Not comfortable to spend time there. Definitely not a place for dating or intimacy (However, there is a second floor. But too small space between tables I must say). -expensive since you do not enjoy a good quality seating. -but ok enough for a...
