The saltiness of the food seems to vary, which would explain why some reviews say that the fish is delicious while others complain about the unpalatability. The salmon I ordered was quite salty but thankfully not to the point of being inedible, though it did require shoveling in quite a bit of rice to balance it out. My partner’s order was a different kind of salmon dish which was seasoned correctly, so they need to improve their consistency. Also, the two workers at the shop at the time were foreigners, and one of them was far worse at speaking than the other, so I couldn’t understand anything the latter said in either Japanese or English when he brought one of our orders and wanted to know whose it was, though I guess it didn’t really matter since we could just sort it out ourselves. There was an elderly Japanese man who was inquiring about an advance order that they were struggling to communicate with, however, and the situation was resolved only when another worker arrived (the manager I assume since he was native Japanese). I don’t mind whether the employees are foreigners, especially considering the country’s workforce shortage, but for a place like this that gets a lot of elderly customers I think they should hire staff with much stronger Japanese...

Tea, water and alcoholic drinks are served. If you don't speak Japanese, there is a large window display showing samples of all the major dishes (although they are labeled in Japanese, you could use this window to help show your server the...
Read moreVisited on the morning of 13/8/2025 for a solo meal. There were 7 empty seats, so I chose one to sit down. At that time, there was only one female staff member working. She told me I couldn’t sit there and insisted on arranging a seat for me, but then slowly continued with other tasks. After two customers finished paying and left, I asked, “Can’t sit down?” Only then did she slowly arrange a seat for me. Her attitude was extremely arrogant. I’m not sure if this is due to the company being too harsh...
