Visited in October 2025. Japan 🇯🇵 Tokyo. We found this little restaurant by chance while checking reviews nearby. It’s a very small, intimate place with only about eight seats at a sushi counter, run by a lovely older couple. The space feels warm and authentic — one of those true local gems that instantly make you feel at home. FOOD: This is a traditional Japanese restaurant serving sushi sets, noodles, and a few small side dishes. During lunch, they offer business set menus only. There are several choices, and we went for the 8-piece nigiri set featuring chūtoro tuna. The fish was fresh, rich, and melted beautifully in the mouth, with a gentle, pleasant aroma. The rice was well-prepared — slightly sticky, holding its shape without falling apart. Personally, I would have preferred a bit less rice, but the portion was generous and satisfying. The rice was mild in flavor, allowing the tuna to shine. Both the fish and rice were served at room temperature, which made the flavors blend seamlessly together. SERVICE: Service was polite and efficient. The restaurant is run by the couple themselves, and although it doesn’t feel like a tourist-oriented place, we were welcomed warmly. VERDICT: We really enjoyed this small, atmospheric sushi restaurant. The prices are excellent — we paid only 2,800 yen for 8 pieces of chūtoro nigiri plus a bowl of soup. The quality was good, and it’s clear the owners respect tradition and take pride in their craft. Highly recommended if you want an authentic and affordable sushi experience away from the crowds.

A very small and cozy restaurant with the chef making the food right in front of you. The food was decent and not too expensive, for 1100 yen, we had a plate of sushi with a bowl of udon. Although the quality of the ingredients weren't the best, they were still fresh and tasted good. The service was alright, not particularly welcoming but also not unwelcoming.

Simple, sweet spot for sushi. The menu is limited, but perfect. The restaurant only has a counter to sit at, which I enjoy as you can watch the chef prepare. Cash only. Give it a try!

We were given a wonderfully warm welcome and immediately made to feel at home, especially by the lady who brought our dishes to us. Ordering is via a touch screen with English translations. Hard to choose from such a range of dishes but our sushi and nigri were perfect. To cap it all, we were given a lovely send off by everyone. Thanks to everyone for a...
