Hesitant to share....always when a local takes me to an off the beaten path treasure. Went with reservation for 6 at the counter on a weekday. Not sure can always get reservation. Establishments like this is why I cannot enjoy sushi in USA... Not only is the sushi exquisite, the chef is delightful. Ingredients were all pristine including his nori so get some maki-sushi at the end as well. Cannot go wrong with omakase. Chef will solicit individual preferences which is nice. I want to go back when I return to Japan! Photo of sazae (broth was deliciously smokey and satisfying).
