I get the long wait and was fine to wait 2 hours for my seat. Its a 1 star for the terrible meal I had and the staff did not do anything to make the experience better. I ordered a Special Tuna course and was shocked when my meal look nothing like the picture.
My tuna slices had holes and it actually made me think I can cut better than the sushi chef. My Otoro (fatty tuna) was hard to chew :c the chef left the Saji (muscle) in.
The chef did not care at all about the presentation and he also didn't bother checking to see if the course was completed as he totally forgot about the egg dish that was suppose to come for my friends course. Overall unprofessional and just felt like a fool for waiting 2 hours for a place that has many great reviews and pictures of the food.
I did complain after payment but the staff did not seem sincere or really care about the situation. Even if its value for money, I will...
Read moreFood was not worth the 2+ hours wait, the ordering system is also quite different from the other branches. Service was horrible.
Understandably, as it was the weekend we had to wait for about two hours or so to be seated. However, we had to wait another 1 hour just to get three plates of food we ordered. If this was the case for everyone else we can understand, but every table around us with Japanese customers got the food, even the ones who came 30 mins after us. We asked multiple time where our order was but was told very flippantly each time that it'll come soon. Only when we decide to cancel our order after 1 hour of waiting did they hurriedly brought it over. The staffs can speak English so there was no language barrier, but we were the only foreigners at the time.

Read moreSituated in the basement level of the station/mall it can be hard to find for tourists like me, as it has only japanese signs. Outside there's a queuing machine to join the waiting list (yes, more people than me realized they serve some great sushi!), but once you have your number you can stroll around the mall instead of just standing around.
The sushi is great, I had the special tuna set, which is highly recommended. Service is polite and effective. A semi English name is available, and there's a chance you'll find a waiter speaking a little English as well. As a single eater or maximum 3 in a group, try sitting by the chefs to get all the sushi action.
International credit cards accepted, as you pay on your way out from the restaurant.
