My recent dining experience at Swagat was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we stepped inside, we were greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with friendly staff and funky music that set the perfect tone for our evening.
As a leading Indian restaurant chain in Tokyo, Swagat truly excels in offering a diverse array of Indian delicacies. From the tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared dishes to the vibrant colors that adorned our table, every aspect of our dining experience was carefully curated to delight the senses.
Though I can't recall the specific names of the dishes we started with, each one was a testament to Swagat's commitment to quality and flavor. The HaraBhara Kebab, with its nutritious blend of vegetables, was a delightful starter that left us craving more. The Goli Kebab and Sheekh Kebab followed suit, each offering a unique combination of spices and tender meat that left our tastebuds dancing with joy.
For the main course, we indulged in the Butter Chicken, a creamy and decadent dish that paired perfectly with the freshly baked naan. The Aloo Gobi, a vegetarian delight, showcased the rich flavors of potatoes, cauliflower, and Indian spices, leaving us completely satisfied.
What truly sets Swagat apart is their attention to detail and dedication to providing a memorable dining experience. From their commitment to using high-quality ingredients to their thoughtful consideration for dietary preferences such as Halal and vegetarian options, Swagat ensures that every guest leaves feeling satisfied and eager to return.
In conclusion, my wife and I were thoroughly impressed with our experience at Swagat. We left with full stomachs, happy hearts, and a renewed appreciation for the flavors of Indian cuisine. We can't wait to dine at Swagat again soon and explore more of their tantalizing menu offerings. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a culinary adventure that promises to...
Read moreFood is great. Had a Methi parantha and a Keema parantha - fenugreek stuffed flat bread, and a ground meat stuffed parantha.
Food was made fresh, yes the turn around time is slightly longer but hearing the knife chopping in the kitchen is a good sign. Everything that should be prepped is prepped everything that should be made fresh is made fresh.
They offer Basmati rice to those who request it, and also have the traditional japanese rice.
The service is good, attentive enough to get your order right but will need to ask to have your cups topped off for water.
The tea was amazing, true to taste.
Now I cannot speak on the South Indian food here as I am from North India; but for a restaurant trying to do all sorts of Indian cuisine this spot takes the cake. Ive travelled all over Japan for the past month; east to west, most places fall in the category of edible indian food, this place has it at good indian food. Out of ten id give this a 7/10.
There was a good mix of indian people, japanese and foreigners.
To the Japanese folk, if you dont have a large appetite please try to only order one dish and ask for basmati rice instead. I think you would enjoy the food...
Read moreI am being generous and giving four stars. It is a small place and the people who run this really try. The menu is far too long and that may be their problem as they try to cover south to north. I wonder if they adjusted their flavor to demographic or lack ingredients . The panipuri lacked punch. Dal tadka was decent and the chapati was soft and puffed. I saw locals all having good time and enjoying the food. They have several vegan options and many can be made vegan if you ask to hold butter. I had good chat with the owner who is from a city known for culinary delights. I see them do a lots...
