Syabu-Yō atre Akihabara 2 — Restaurant in Tokyo

Food quality was good and came out quite quick on the robots, soup broths were amazing! Had the unlimited pork belly and pork shoulder set, with Drinks (Extra). Customer service was great and staff were constantly coming around and clearing plates and making sure everything was stocked well.

Only thing that was a mess was the waiting area, with large groups of people coming up the elevator and groups of people waiting to get in, it got soo squishy at times, you got pressed up against people or walls. Need a better system where they page you on a mobile saying please return as your table is almost ready to be seated and keep those who don’t have a contact number and keep the people who do away until the table is ready. Would be good to let people cancel their number as about 8 people didn’t bother to return and that wasted like 15 minutes of people trying to get in. Would recommend to the restaurant to add a number screen above where everyone is standing and would recommend having English speaking numbers after Japanese like other restaurants do.

But overall food, customer service and experience was very good and would recommend to everyone to try the site!...

I love hot pot and this place definitely hit the spot. Being a tourist with limited Japanese the instructions were not clear and I didn't get the full value of the menu. After getting into the swing of things with the iPad menu and English translation things went well.

The meat is brought out by really cool robot cat servers.

You need to check in at the entrance with an iPad and it would can numbers in the language you checked in with. If you order the all you can drink menu, the alcohol is self serve at the extras bar along with the veg, noodles, condiments etc. I made the mistake of ordering on the iPad and getting charged extra.

I really like AYCE shabu-yo. I was here in January of 2023 and ordered the one of the basic AYCE for 1,499 Y (let's you order chicken, meatballs, and pork.

There are 5 tiers from 1,399Y-2,799Y (lunch/before 4pm) or 1,799-3,299Y (dinner). You have 80 or 100 minutes to eat depending on whether you go at lunch or dinner.

You can choose 2 broths to dip your shabu into.

Vegetables and sides (noodles, rice, etc.) are free-style buffet, grab as much as you want.

There are also many desserts to choose from, and you can have some fun building them yourself.
