Come here with an empty belly but expect a wait. This is a popular spot apparently. Featuring American style dinner food with a Japanese twist on a lot of it. I believe they have specials that change regularly and new interesting items replacing other ones often. After failing to get Puffy pancakes from a recommended place in Asakusa earlier in the day, my friend and I found this place after exploring some of the arcades and geek shops in Akihabara. Thank fully unlike the place I was recommended to, this place does not require reservations and can make puffy pancakes any time with no limits. I ordered this which I think was a seasonal special of fresh fruit pancakes with white chocolate sauce and I also had a big pot of exceptional earl grey tea. You get 3 pancakes and a ton of toppings as you can see. It was delicious and the pancakes were so filling I almost couldn't finish them. Be prepared for a possible sugar coma after especially if you use all the chocolate sauce. The line was long but moved fairly quickly and the pancakes took a little while to come out but this should be expected as they're made fresh to order and the presentation was lovely. All wait staff speak very good english and are very attentive, getting us what ever we needed. Highly recommend checking it out for your puffy breakfast experience lol.
Quick tip this is in a food court at the top of a department store that you can probably find the entrance too on the map. If you dont know where you're going though the address on google maps was slightly miss leading we were on a street behind the department store looking for a restaurant on the street. So just be sure to remember it's in the department store all the way at...
Read moreCame here for breakfast/lunch today and did not have the best experience. I ordered the Tiramisu French toast, the Tiramisu iced latte, and the Fried chicken and French toast plate. We had a group of 4 people, and the table we were sat at was small. The Tiramisu latte was the best part of my meal. Two of my peers got their food pretty quickly, but it took a long time for some of it to come to the table. By the time my one peer got his food, everyone else was done eating, and ready to leave. Someone at our table received undercooked fried chicken, it was very pink in the middle. The rest of the tables chicken was fully cooked, but it did not taste like the type you would normally find with chicken and waffles. My meal also came with fries which were okay, but no maple syrup for my chicken and French toast. The salad part of my plate came with no dressing, and did not look fresh. With being sat at such a small table, our drink glasses and plates piled up, leaving us no room for the rest of our food, and the staff waited until the very end of our meal to come clear off the empty glasses that were taking up most of the table space. The French toast was okay, but just didnt have much flavor despite all the sweet toppings. We spent about 14000¥ for 4 of us, or $90USD, which was very pricey for the quality of food...
Read moreFrom the moment you arrive, the experience is well thought out—even while waiting in line, you’re not left standing, thanks to the ample seating available for those in the queue. The wait time from arrival to receiving our pancakes was about an hour, which felt reasonable given the popularity of the place.
The pancake menu offers a great variety, with options to customize your order with extra toppings and choose between two or three pancakes. The prices are surprisingly affordable, especially considering the quality. The pancakes are fluffy, flavorful, and far from bland—easily among the best I’ve had.
I tried the crème brûlée pancake, which stood out as it’s the first time I’ve seen that option on a pancake menu. It was excellent. They also serve other tempting dishes like French toast and a solid selection of savory mains, all of which looked appetizing.
The restaurant itself is spacious with plenty of seating, and even when it’s busy, it doesn’t feel cramped. The only drawback is the noise level—it can get quite loud inside, both from other diners and from the general bustle of the mall where the shop is located.
Still, even with the noisy atmosphere, it wouldn’t feel right to give this place anything less than five stars. The quality, value, and overall experience more than...
