T's Bakery — Restaurant in Tokyo

The bread and pastries here are amazing. The bread has that authentic crunch you get with a french baguette. We brought a few things from here and each one had a distinct taste. My favourites were the cheese bread, bacon baguette, soy cream pastry and the fig/walnut bread. But it was hard to pick as there was such a good selection!! The lady who served us and who makes all the items herself along with her husband was very friendly. I will definitely come back when I revisit Japan :)...

You got to make sure to go in the morning! Their specialty is anpan, which is anko-pan, or red bean paste filled bread. And they do it well. As such, if you arrive even at 1-2 pm you run the risk of not having any left to order. So go early and stock up. There is another anpan establishment that is delicious, right near asakusa's shrine.
