Shake Tree Diner — Restaurant in Tokyo

We absolutely loved Shake Tree Burger and Bar, so we decided to try their diner! They have this really unique way of preparing the hamburger that makes it delicious and truly different. From what I can tell, they partially grind the meat so that there are chunks of steak in the burger. The diner was a nice twist on their brand, with a lot of classic diner touches. Although I wanted to tell them they should play hits from the 50s rather than hits from the 90s if they really wanted to be authentic. The food was delicious and the proportions were adequate. The only downsides were the prices were still a bit high (we paid ¥6200 for a family of 4), and the meat seemed a little less juicy than Shake Tree Burger and Bar. Came here when we felt like a slight change of pace from the regular food we'd been having on our trip and it didn't disappoint.

Back home most burger places are doing the smash thing and so a thick, semi minced fat patty was an amazing change. So well cooked and balanced with the other fillings and the bun. One of the best burgers I've ever had.

The buffalo wings were also properly saucy and great.

Just would have liked the server who was seating people waiting to be less passive. The family group in front of us weren't making a decision as to where they wanted to sit and the server wasn't pressing them to make a choice. So it took much longer than it should have for us to...

A great little diner in a new renovated area under the elevated train tracks called Mizumachi.

The menu has burgers, sandwiches and hot dogs, I decided on a mozzarella burger and it was quite good, as well as my wife's bacon cheeseburger; good fluffy bun, nice thick meat and for the cheeseburger the vegetables came on the size, so you can stack it as you want it.

They also have beers, cocktails and mock-tails, as well as shakes and smoothies, so I'll update my review once I try those later.
