This was my first visit to Japan and I visited 3 cat cafes. This one was by far the best. Main reason is unlimited time for just one cover charge! I hated being on a time limit with other cafes. There was tons of space, and enough cats to go around. I had been to other cafes where the cats don't pay attention to you unless you have treats (a clever money making tactic), but these kitties were social and pettable. They seemed bored with the toys, but we crumpled up some paper napkins and got like 5 cats to play with them!

I came out here in the evening after doing the ghibli museum. I would gladly make the trek out to Mitaka just for this cafe (and the surrounding mall area is nice too). Their menu is extensive so you can eat and drink for as long as you want to enjoy time with kitties.

Make sure you make a reservation as this place is popular (for good reason). If you want to make a reservation, just email them 1 month out from your desired date with your time and number of...

I really wanted to visit this place while i was in Tokyo so made plans well in advance to make sure it would happen. I emailed them a month out to make a reservation and got an email back the next day (in broken English) asking me for a reservation time. I requested a time and they replied shortly after asking me to (what looked like) confirm (again hard to understand in broken English). I responded and was told that no they couldn't do that day and time so I gave them a four day period with any time available that I wanted to come. They responded and said I could not come on any of those four days at any time. This was a month out from our visit mind you! This place seems geared towards the locals only. Unless you speak Japanese you're probably going to have a hard...

I came here on weekend and it costs me about 1800 JPY for a visit with no time limit. However it is only the admission cost. You need to pay more for else (foods, drinks, cat food).

Food wise, they offer a limited menu of snacks only. So if you are hungry, I recommend you to eat first outside before coming here.

Place: The place is nice, clean, and tidy. Some doors are small so you need to be careful.

Experience wise, they have many cats that you can play with and if you love cats, you will definitely love this place. There is a lot of attraction like cat feeding, playing with the cat toys, and so on. If you don't love cats, you might want to seek another place.

Overall, this is a nice place for cat-lovers, all they offer is to play...

Really awesome cat cafe! Easy to get to via train from shinjuku. There is a large variety of cats, and we had no problems playing with them, which can be helped along by purchasing some cat treats. The decor is really nice, and the whole place has a pleasant atmosphere. The cats are clearly very well looked after. We arrived in the morning around 10:30 on a weekday in autumn without a reservation to find it relatively quiet, but all the cats were awake and playing, and having their lunch, and fun to interact with We had a drink each and stayed for around 2 hours, dragging ourselves away because we had other things to do. For 2 people with two nice drinks we played about ¥4000 which was a great price for how much fun we had.

Firstly, it's one of the few animal cafes around that doesn't charge you per half hour or hour. There's no time restriction so you pay a flat fee. Secondly, it's further away from the major tourist parts of tokyo, and was noticeably quieter. We went there on a weekday evening and there was some heavy drizzle on that particular day, but when we went there were only a handful of other tables. And by the time we left we were the only ones left. One of the cats (Ume) was so friendly that she actually came and plonked herself down on my friend for a good half hour or so. Definitely my top recommendation for a cat cafe experience in Tokyo.

I have been to many cat cafes before, this one was one of the worst. The theme of the place is cute, the service to people is nice, however - there were no restrictions on number of people or their age, so there were plenty of kids running around exhausting the cats. I have observed the cats being very anxious and looking for a way out (windows, ledges, holes, anything). There was one cat in particular I immediately noticed was actually sick and withdrawn, I pointed this out to a staff member who said all looks fine to them and left it at that. I have no doubts that one needs vet intervention. These cats are not treated well.
