Absolutely amazing dining experience, was by far the best food I had on my Japan trip. The venue is very cosy and you get to sit right in front of the chef's as they prepare everything. Watching the chef's work together was such a treat. The waiter I had spoke perfect English and provided an English menu. Each dish was explained in detail as it was served. The food itself is absolutely exquisite. Highly recommend the 9 course degustation that includes the caviar. The caviar is served up with a variety of mini dishes to pair it with, they will explain the best way to eat everything but the chef's skill comes out to shine as each mouthful is a completely different experience to the last. The spiny lobster and Wagyu are so fresh and masterfully done. If you want to go to a restaurant in Japan that can give you the full range of Japanese luxury foods, this is the only place to go. Can't wait to come back on my next trip.

ありえない対応をされました。 2人で予約して別々にお店に伺う予定が、相手の方が時間を過ぎても来ず、連絡もつかず予想外の状況で心配で狼狽えている中、「相手の人連絡つかないから何かあったんだと思います。ドタキャンとかするような人じゃないし。。時間だいぶ過ぎてるし多分来られない気がします。どうしたらいいですか？」等2回ほど聞くも反応は苦笑いのみ。その時店には客は私だけで、スタッフは3人はいました。 こちらから「何時閉店ですか？」等聞いても「コースなんで、コース出すペースどんどん早くなっちゃうので早く来て頂いた方がいいです。」と。既に2度ほど「来ないと思う。」と伝えてますし、誰か代わりを呼ぼうにも22時過ぎでみんな夕食終えてますし、途方に暮れながら店員さんの提案を待っている間に30分以上が過ぎ、ついに勇気を出して3回目の「どうしたらいいですか？」(時刻は23時前。こちらは会計を提案されると思っていました。すると なんと「1人分はこちらで召し上がって頂いて、もう1人分は持ち帰れるものだけ持ち帰り」と言われました。 終始冷たい対応でとっても辛かったです。 相手のことが心配だし、店員からは早く帰りたいのか冷たい目線を向けられ、(閉店時間よりはだいぶ前に出ました) もちろん料理の味なんてしませんし大急ぎで食べて、説明も全く耳に入ってきませんでした。 お金は払うから2人分キャンセルしたかったです。消えて無くなりたい気持ちになり、家に帰ってから泣きました。 食材を用意して頂いている以上、キャンセル代はもちろんかかると思いますがこちらを気遣う気持ちが0でショックを受けました。 3万円以上お支払いしてこれは酷い仕打ちだと思います。若い女が行くとまともに対応してもらえないのでしょうか？ 私が到着した頃お食事を終えていた老夫婦のお客様とはずっと楽しそうに談笑しておりました。 接客業辞めた方がいいのでは。 持ち帰ったお弁当の写真を載せます。

This is where we had our last meal in Tokyo and we were not disappointed. It's a fixed price place with a variety of options, but à la carte choices are available. Everyone in our party ordered the dinner with lobster and steak courses (the Sakura menu). For me, the steak course was the standout. The service was attentive and the staff spoke some English. The atmosphere was cozy and nice--we sat upstairs. I had beer with my meal, as I sometimes have trouble paring wine with Japanese food, but they had a wine list available. I'm sure the staff will help you choose if you wish to drink wine. Overall, a great experience and reasonable for the price. ...

A little known gem of a restaurant, I happened upon this place by chance. The food taste and presentation is delicious and beautiful. It's a very classy place, perfect for a date or special occasion. Cost is about 4000Y/person including drinks. There are course menus available for less. If you sit at the counter seats, the chef will cook right in front of you.
