Oh my gosh, I’m Japanese and it was one of the best pork cutlet I’ve ever had! I went for the fatty on, Rohsu, since I enjoy the flavour of its fat. The restaurant is small so don’t bring a suit case with you. As you open the door, inform them the number of your group. If they have enough seats, they’ll direct you. Otherwise, you wait on the other side of the street. As soon as you sit down, they provide you with a warm tea which was very nice. Then you tell them what you’d like. About ten minutes in, the food starts to arrive. My case was the main dish which was the premium pork cutlet 300g. It comes with a bowl of miso soup with chicken and daikon radish and a bowl of rice. If I could I would give this place 2 1/2 stars. We were three people and waited about 1 hour to get in. There is a "hostess" that comes out now and then to take your order. There are about 8 choices, I got filet mignon, one friend got pork shoulder and my other friend got pork belly. I tried all of the 3 dishes and none was mind blowing. I expected a certain umami that was never realized. The breaded pork comes with shredded cabbage, a bowl of miso "pork" soup, rice, some pickles and a glass of tea. There isn't much interaction in between the two cooks and the hostess who helps washing dishes etc, etc. She is not graceful by any measure. The pork shoulder was raw at the center and somewhat tough. The filet mignon was tender but missing "porkiness" if you get what I mean... For sure I...
