The shop I wanted to go to from before, Tonkatsu Aoki Kamata
Go straight from Shinagawa Station on the Shinkansen
Arrive at the shop around 10:10
Already about 5 customers are lined up
Before opening at 11 o'clock it has more than 30 people
Next door Ippoppi (Katsu curry shop) also lined up
We were able to enter the store at the same time as opening (10 seats at the counter)
You will hear your order 15 minutes before entering the store
First of all, miso soup appears (it's pork soup)
The rice is quite large (other customers have less)
I came here with a special fin and set meal 2,000 yen
It's a pretty volume
First of all, it ’s soft and sweet
Is delicious
If you are traveling with ribs and set meals 2,500 yen
The other person is specially loin and set meal 2,000 yen
This is also thick
It became a piece of treat, but it was soft, sweet and delicious
Moderately fried with moderate juicy on clothes
Craftsmanship wonderful
Because there are many cutlets, rice is delicious
For those who go every day, there is also a weekday limited loin and lunch 1,000 yen
When I left the store, I had more lines 1...
Read moreOh my gosh, I’m Japanese and it was one of the best pork cutlet I’ve ever had! I went for the fatty on, Rohsu, since I enjoy the flavour of its fat. The restaurant is small so don’t bring a suit case with you. As you open the door, inform them the number of your group. If they have enough seats, they’ll direct you. Otherwise, you wait on the other side of the street. As soon as you sit down, they provide you with a warm tea which was very nice. Then you tell them what you’d like. About ten minutes in, the food starts to arrive. My case was the main dish which was the premium pork cutlet 300g. It comes with a bowl of miso soup with chicken and daikon radish and a bowl of rice. I believe they also take pride in its own soup and rice cause they were outstanding. The whole experience was pleasant! The payment methods are either cash and PayPay so be prepared. When you are in the area, I highly...
Read moreIf I could I would give this place 2 1/2 stars. We were three people and waited about 1 hour to get in. There is a "hostess" that comes out now and then to take your order. There are about 8 choices, I got filet mignon, one friend got pork shoulder and my other friend got pork belly. I tried all of the 3 dishes and none was mind blowing. I expected a certain umami that was never realized. The breaded pork comes with shredded cabbage, a bowl of miso "pork" soup, rice, some pickles and a glass of tea. There isn't much interaction in between the two cooks and the hostess who helps washing dishes etc, etc. She is not graceful by any measure. The pork shoulder was raw at the center and somewhat tough. The filet mignon was tender but missing "porkiness" if you get what I mean... For sure I...
