This ramen restaurant, located just across from the large corporate building Nissei Aroma Square and near Kamata’s main street, stands out for its thoughtful design and minimalist elegance. From the interior décor to the plating of each dish, there is a clear emphasis on simplicity while skillfully highlighting visual appeal where needed. The restaurant appears to be designed for diners to truly savor their meals. This is reflected in slightly smaller portion sizes and relatively higher prices. Despite the prime location, the restaurant is not very crowded - even during peak daytime hours - which makes it a good spot for a quiet, casual meal with friends, rather than a place you'd visit frequently. The soup is crafted with only chicken bones and vegetables - no pork or beef - making it potentially suitable for Muslim travelers as well. The broth is rich in flavor, neither too heavy nor too light, and clearly prepared with care over time. It resembles a tori-paitan (creamy chicken broth) but has a deeper richness. As recommended by the restaurant, if you have leftover broth after finishing your noodles, you might enjoy turning it into a risotto for a satisfying finish. While this might not be your everyday ramen spot due to price and portion size, it’s definitely worth considering for a relaxed, quality dining experience...
Read moreThis is my 3rd time in Japan, and its been 8 days now, this is the first restaurant that i bother to review on this trip. Its that good! I've tried many kinds of ramen this past decades and this is special and distinct enough that even non ramen lover should've tried it at least once. its delicious, and the broth has parmesan cheese taste to it, and it goes really well.
Tried the regular ramen and the tsukemen. The tsukemen is even stronger in broth and cheese flavor, so if u don't like parmesan cheese taste, try the...
Read moreCozy and quiet with yummy ramen. You order at a kiosk next to the door before sitting down. Unfortunately there was no English option, but the staff were extremely friendly and helped us order our meals. The ramen broth was very thick with a deep flavor. The noodles had a nice texture to them, not too firm and not too soft. Another thing to note is that they only take cash, so...
