Overall, it was a great experience. The staff were quite attentive and the food was great. The space has a great ambience in the evening as well — very stylish yet warm. The seats were well-spaced so that diners can still feel a sense of privacy whilst chatting.
We ordered a pasta, pizza, two appetisers, and two drinks between two of us, and it came up to about ¥6,000. Do note that they do ask that each diner orders at least one drink (non-alcoholic drinks are fine too).
I thought the highlight of the meal was the pasta (we had tomato-based pasta with octopus and olives — the portion in the photo is one half of a full order; they had kindly split the serving for us) and the tuna carpaccio.
For a place that looks like it specialises in pizza, the classic Margherita was just a tiny bit of the letdown. It was great in flavour, but they had quite a bit of tomato in it (dried and Italian) that it overwhelmed most of the flavour. I’d just wish that the cheese they used was strong enough (or just enough in volume) to balance the tanginess of the tomato. To be fair, it wasn’t a recommended flavour — but all in all, it was a good meal.
I would definitely go back to try the other pizzas and sample more of...
Read moreI’ll be fair and give 3 stars since I didn’t eat here. Went in because it looked nice and had a pizza oven in the center. There was no menu outside so we just gave it a shot.
First of all you have to order by smart phone. Not sure what they do if you don’t have one but the staff are right there and ask you to order by phone instead.
Looked at the menu and the type of pizza they have there. Except for margarita, everything else is nothing that you would expect or find at a real Napoli style pizzeria.
I just got the feeling that this was a bit too pretentious with the menu and ordering, but anyway we ordered a couple of dishes but didn’t feel like drinking anything. Sent my order in, then a staff came and said we had to order drinks.
Honestly there was nothing I wanted to eat except a margarita pizza, but we ordered that and another dish just to be polite, but being forced to order some drinks we just decided to leave.
I suppose if you wanna take a date there for the ambience, and don’t mind eating pizzas that try too hard to be funky, this place would be OK. Savoy or L'Antica Pizzeria da...

Located in a busy street crammed with dank bars and drinking establishments, this modern and chic restaurant seems almost entirely out of place.
The spacious and open layout gives a wide view of the kitchen and other patrons when seated at the counter seats. Tototo embraces minimalism, with little to none embellishments or decorations to note, but the ambience also makes for a sense of fine dining.
We originally came for the pizza, as the pizza oven takes center stage in the kitchen. The pizzas craftfully use Japanese ingredients, which gives it a nice niche, but sadly they are above average at best.
What really stole the show was the pasta and plethora of Italian dishes they served. The salad was fresh and unique; the meat pasta was meaty and divine. The dessert (whatever it was callled) was the perfect finish to our meal.
All in all, this location is ideal for a classy date. As for me, I'll be coming back for that pasta and other plates - not for the...
