Each return to Tsukada is like a rendezvous with an old flame—familiar yet thrilling, and this time was no exception. On my latest visit, I ventured into new territory with their delicate chicken broth. At first glance, it’s a modest, crystal-clear elixir, but one sip, and I was transported. The depth of flavor was nothing short of an epicurean marvel—rich, comforting, and impossibly refined. Great food and very friendly staff. This is probably the best Izakaya in Tennozu Isle! Tsukada Nojo is famous for its chicken from Kagoshima so it’s no surprise that most of its chicken dishes are must-tries!
