Stopped overnight here whilst travelling to Kyoto due to its proximity to Shinagawa station (5 minutes walk). It was a small, clean room with a comfortable single bed. The bathroom/toilet was tiny though so don’t expect to soak in the bath after a humid day’s travelling.|The room contained a fridge, microwave, hot plate and sink, air conditioning, TV, multi-charger for phones/tablets. There is LAN connection if needed and free wifi throughout the building. ||Things to note - there is no sink or mirror in the bathroom, also there is no mirror at the sink next to the hot plate so wet shaving is guesswork.|If you stay more than one night there is no room cleaning service and if you need replacement towels you should exchange them at reception. |There is no restaurant in this Inn but there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance.|There is a vending machine on the lower floor where you can purchase cold drinks, this is in the laundry room which has a couple of washing machines and driers for hire.||For one nights stopover this place was adequate but I wouldn’t want a longer stay - I think it was expensive for...

Read moreSpent a night at this hotel after we landed from Narita Airport before continuing the trip to Osaka. Convenient as its 10 min walk from Shinagawa station which the Narita Express stops at and not even 2 minutes walk to Kitashinagawa station so you can take a train from Shinagawa to Kitashinagawa if you have a lot of luggage. One thing we noticed too is the Local train to Kitashinagawa seems to start at Shinagawa so its always empty to start. Check in was simple process and got lucky with a ground floor room so don’t need to take the luggage up the stairs. You can collect other ammenities for free in the lobby such as facial creams, shavers etc. Room is small but had everything from multi phone chargers to a hotplate. You could live there but didn't matter as we were out all day anyway! A bathtub is big plus after a big walk to soak in. As its not in Shinagawa itself, its not very busy and with its proximity to the station, we manage to visit Shibuya and Shinjuku in one night! Would recommend if you like walking and exploring while avoiding the large...
