Tully's Coffee — Restaurant in Tokyo

『とげぬき地蔵』の愛称で知られる高岩寺の目の前にあるタリーズです。巣鴨の代表的な観光地の目の前にあるため、特に休日は混雑し、注文の前に席を確保する必要があります（スタッフに事前の席の確保を促されることが多いです）。一方で平日は一日を通してそれ程混雑しておらず、特に2階の客席は事前の確保が必要になる機会はあまり多くありません。巣鴨は高齢者が多いものの、このカフェに関しては高齢者の利用があまり多くないことが理由の一つなのかもしれません。 客席フロアは1階と2階の2階構成ですが、2階への昇降は階段だけでなくエレベーターもあるため、車椅子等の障碍を持つ方、大きな荷物を持つ方でも気軽に利用できると思います。給仕されるドリンクや料理の質及び種類は、他のタリーズと遜色無いように思います。空いている時間帯に利用したからか、スタッフの接客対応にも余裕が見られ、好印象でした。

This Tully's coffee is located right in front of Kogan-ji Temple, known by the nickname "Togenuki Jizo". Because it's located right in front of one of Sugamo's most popular tourist attractions, it is especially crowded on weekends and holidays, and it's necessary to reserve a seat before placing your order (the staff often encourages you to reserve a seat in advance). On weekdays, on the other hand, it's not so crowded throughout the day, and there are not many opportunities to need to reserve seats in advance, especially on the second floor seating area. Although Sugamo has a large elderly population, this may be one of the reasons why there are not many elderly people using this café. The seating area consists of two floors, the first floor and the second floor, and there are elevators as well as stairs to go up and down to the second floor, so people with disabilities such as wheelchairs and people with large luggage can easily use the café. The quality and variety of drinks and dishes served are comparable to other Tully's coffee shops. Perhaps it was because we visited during an open period of the day, but I was impressed by the staff's relaxed attitude toward...

Nice, friendly atmosphere and quiet for most of the day. Lunch rush can get busy but overall pretty spacious (upstairs and downstairs dining area). Coffee, desserts, and entrees are tasty.

EDIT: I am lowering my review by one star. Over the past few months (since beginning of 2024), there has been a noticeable lack of WIFI reliability. I am often disconnected while working, and when I am connected, the loading time is very slow. It's frustrating, and I cannot be as productive as...

Probably the best Tulleys I've ever been in. Lots of seating, rarely full. Can easily find a seat with a power plug. Entire shop is non-smoking so the walls aren't yellow, and if you are lucky you can get a window seat on the second floor. Free unlimited WiFi is also easy to login to and is very fast. Drinks are middle of the road, better and cheaper than Starbucks but you won't be up at night...
