Konichiwa. Sushi time in Higashi-Azabu!!! Visited for dinner with 3 people. We were kind of worried before we got in to the sushi restaurant because it is first time and looks so old, however once we got in, the sushi restaurant has a warm downtown atmosphere and seems to be run by a father and son. Everyone (include other customers) is friendly and comfortable. We love here instantly! There is a counter and table seats in the restaurant. There are two ways to order: you can tell the Taisho (sushi chef) over the counter what you like, or you ask Taisho for his OMAKASE ( the sushi chef serves season specialities, which doesn’t have fixed price) We ordered what we liked. Everything was good like we expect! I personally like the red clams, horse mackerel and sashimi. And remember! Tsusho will will add sauce to your sushi, so no need to dip in soy sauce. That is Edo-style Sushi. Highly recommended Sushi restaurant if you wanna try old-school laid back Sushi atmosphere with reasonable price :) They have...

Sometimes you get really lucky in life and get to have an unparalleled and unintentional experience. This was one of them. Walked over to this spot after Tokyo tower. I’m not shy to quality and expensive sushi. I’ve had my share, but hands down this was top notch and perhaps my favorite of all times. Family run business for 56 years. My son and I went for lunch. We were the only ones there which made it more special. We had omakase. About 16 pieces later our belly’s were full of sushi love from the kindest father and son chefs. The sons wife was the loveliest too. Just wow what a great last meal here in Tokyo. Will definitely be back again!!...

A truly memorable meal and experience. My wife, 2 yr old son, and I just finished dinner at this charming little place. The service was phenomenal, with the father, son, and family going out of their way to accommodate travellers with a toddler. The food was the best we had in Tokyo. I wish were found it sooner, given it was our last night, and our hotel was two blocks away. Thank you, from your new...

I’ve been there twice and each time has been spectacular. The English menu features some classical nigiri sets but don’t even bother asking for it - trust the chef and go for the omakase experience. You will be treated with ~15 sushi made with the freshest fish of the day, perfectly cut and seasoned. Add a couple glasses of sake in a nice atmosphere and you get the perfect recipe for sushi omakase in Higashiazabu !
