We came with our 2-year-old child and walked 10 minutes from Tokyo Tower just to have a meal here. The restaurant showed as open online, and there were no other customers inside. However, as soon as we arrived, the staff told us they were “no longer serving,” even though it was only around 7 PM. We honestly couldn’t understand why — was it because we had a child with us?
If the restaurant is closed, or if you don’t welcome guests with children, please clearly state that in advance. Don’t let visitors waste their time and walk away disappointed. If you don’t care about serving tourists, then just be upfront about it.
