Vosges — Restaurant in Tokyo

This restaurant is not only a hidden gem, but it is also an unforgettable experience.

【Overview】 Vosges is a cozy European restaurant ran by a couple. You can access the entire menu during dinner hours, but there are limited options during lunch hours. I visited this establishment twice - once during lunch, and once during dinner.

【Food】 The food here is divine and left me feeling warm and satisfied. The food is full of comfort and a sense of gentleness, reminding you of all the good in the world.

I have dined at many high-class restaurants before, but nothing I've had can compare to the food here.

🍴 Omurice (Lunch / 900 yen) Very mellow yet still rich with flavors. The egg is perfectly soft and fluffy, making it The dish came with some bread and a light salad.

I had a problem with my internal organs during this visit, which made me unable to eat well. However, the omurice was so delicious and easy to eat that my body's lack of appetite ceased to exist.

🍴Risotto Course (Dinner / 2000 Yen) I was curious about dinner at Vosges, so I stopped by on the last day of my trip. The course consists of a salad, tea/coffee, and a dessert (Sorbet).

When the risotto was served, I was a bit skeptical as it's more of a rice porridge than risotto. To be fair, 'Crab rice porridge' was written underneath the sign. I was a bit disappointed, but my regret immediately dissipated once I took a bite of this porridge.

I can't put it into words, but the 'soup' of the porridge was full of umami, and rich with wonderful flavors. There's generous amounts of mushrooms and vegetables that had soaked up those heavenly flavors. It tasted a bit creamy despite the soup being clear.

【Personal Opinions】 I think this place feels like a warm embrace of a loved one. It made me feel so calm and fulfilled.

The owners were also very welcoming and kind. Me and my companion couldn't help but to leave a tip...

I hope both the owners stay healthy, and I wish the best for them! I rarely swing by Tokyo, but when I do, I'll be sure to visit this place again.

土曜日のランチに訪問。 門前仲町で用事があり、オムライスが食べたい気分だったので検索してこちらへ。

オムライス900円を注文しました！ サラダ、パンもついてこの値段は、都内の洋食屋さんの割には良心的な価格設定。

サラダ カレー風味のドレッシングがかかっていました。 味わったことの無い珍しい味でしたが手作り感ある味でとても美味しかったです！

オムライス 卵の見た目はしっかり目ですが、スプーンを入れるとふわふわ。そしてほんのり優しい味がついています。 上にはデミグラスソースと煮込まれた野菜、ブロッコリーが。 中にはグリーンピースが入っていました。 大きさは女性にはちょうどいいですが男性は少ないかも？

お味は文句なしで大満足でしたが接客があまり心地よいものではなかったです。 ご飯だけ食べて帰ってくださいというのがかなり伝わってきてしまって長居はできないでしょう。 席数が少ない為か、お客さんがあまりいないのに帰りを急かされるようにバッシングされました。同行者はまだ食べていたのにゆっくりめだったからかサラダとパンも下げられてしまいました。。

お味はとてもよいですが、その点で-1とさせていただきました。 また、現金しか使えないのでご注意です。

オムライスの他にも気になるメニューがありましたので、今度1人でご飯だけ食べに再度訪問したいです...

昼に入りました。路地裏の洋食屋で、昼はランチセットが三種類だけの様ですね。日によってメニューは変わるみたいです。 内装は昔ながらの洋食屋と言った感じです。落ち着いた色調で、居心地が良かったです。 席は少なめ。カウンターに椅子は５有りましたが、席は３でした。２人掛けテーブル１。４人掛けテーブル４。 頼んだのは《ランチＡセット(オムライス)》900円。《ポタージュスープ》700円。《コーヒー》200円。合計1800円です。パンかライスが付きます。オムライスだったのでパンにしました。 スープは熱々で味もミルク感がしっかりとしていて美味しかったです。量も充分でした。 サラダはアンチョビが乗っていて、塩分がレタスに合っています。 オムライスも丁寧に作られていて美味しかったです。 コーヒーはブラックで飲める味でした。少し苦味が強いかな？ パンが付くとは言え、私には量が少なかったですが、値段を考えたら妥当ですね。 前菜が付くセットが有れば良いのにと思いました...
