Woodberry Bakery is a real gem if you’re looking for a quiet, cozy place to unwind. As soon as you walk in, you notice how peaceful it is — soft music, warm lighting, and enough distance between tables to feel like you have your own space. Perfect spot for reading, catching up on work, or just slowing down for a bit.

The food is excellent. Their baked goods are beautifully done — flaky pastries, rich breads, and inventive flavors. Whether you pick something sweet or savory, everything feels fresh and thoughtfully made. The aroma alone is inviting.

The only downside is the price: it’s a bit more expensive than your average bakery or café in Tokyo. But in my opinion, the quality, atmosphere, and attention to detail make it worth it. You’re not just paying for food, but for a calm,...

Our longtime favourite Woodberry cafe 150m around the corner is now so popular there is a constant queue of people glaring at you to eat faster to vacate the space. The bakery offers a very similar menu, space outside to sit with the dog and the same mandatory ‘one drink per person’ policy that Woodberry introduced a couple of years ago to discourage sharing a piece of cake between 4 people. This is understandable. What is a little less reasonable is the fact that despite spending almost ¥5000 on food & a coffee for 2 people, the staff will police the drink requirement by embarrassingly coming outside to demand you follow them back in and pay for a drink you don’t want & don’t drink. The...

One of the cutest brunch/lunch spots in Tokyo!! The staff speaks some English but if you’re worried about the ordering process its easy!! You sit down and get a menu, after you decide you can go to the counter and order and pay, after some wait they will bring the food to your table. I went around 4:30PM and it was almost empty. What I love is that the music inside isn’t loud at all so the atmosphere is calm and quiet. Also the inside is soo cute. And of course the food is amazing. I had the avocado toast and it was so good I had to write down what was on top so I could remake it back home 😭😭😍!! 10/10, would definitely recommend (although it’s a bit on the pricier side in my...
