You can order half rather then the full appetizer which was really nice. The alcoholic drinks were so sweet which was soooo good. I don't like the taste of alcohol so I always order sweet drinks so they helped offer sweet drinks (they had not sweet drinks too) and it was perfect. We went to Yaguya on one of our first days in Tokyo since we were staying nearby, managed to get a table on walking in (they were completely booked from 6:45 on) and boy were we lucky.
The staff were so much fun to talk with and helped us order with my broken Japanese. Especially recommend asking about the Gundam!! We sat next to an RX-78 (-:
From sashimi to chicken nanban to peach sodas, everything was great here. Out of the many restaurants we went to in our 3-week excursion, none of them compared to the food and overall experience at Yaguya.

The fried chicken was crispy, airy and not overly oily; it paired well with the tartar sauce that was not too tart nor overpowering.
