having been to amusement parks and other disneys, i was not expecting gourmet food for dinner within the park. but the zamboni brothers showed me that it was possible to have food that tasted like it was made by people who knew how to cook instead of people who only knew how to operate roller coasters.
i got the red sauce pasta with meatballs, the cinnamon mickey churros (my favorite churro flavor amongst the wide selection offered throughout disney), and the pink carbonated drink that i cant seem to remember the flavor of anymore. firstly, the pasta was perfectly al dente, seasoned with actual red sauce instead of some variation of ketchup (as i originally assumed it would taste considering it’s an amusement park), and the meatballs were absolutely the cherries on top of it all. the pink drink threw me off at first when i realized there were pieces of chewy “things” (i still have no idea what it was) in it. coming from taiwan, the island of boba, i was not unaccustomed to having my drinks paired with an array of chewy things. in some ways, it made me feel at home. i ended up getting another after i finished the first cup. lastly, the churro was everything i wanted it to be. and yes, it may be largely because i am simply a big fan of cinnamon and would gladly take anything sprinkled with cinnamon on top. so please do take my opinion with a pinch of salt (or cinnamon lol).
as a bonus, my friend ordered the long pizza (what a concept!), which i tried and ended up loving. the bread is what you would expect to find at authentic italian restaurants rather than an amusement park that one would assume mass produces their bread. but no, there was a perfect balance of elasticity, salt, and quality flour from the few bites i stole from my friends long pizza. ultimately, the whole concept of a normal pizza molded into a long churro-like shape simply makes any person enjoy the food ten times more.
if you happen to be in disney sea and are up for some italian, hit up...

Read moreMeatless pizza is on the menu without having to ask! And it’s great!
The bleu cheese pizza is really good (especially with the maple syrup they provide on the side)! This is doubly true since it’s the first entree I’ve been able to order as-is off of the menu without having to declare a vegetarian dietary restriction.
It would be nice if there was some other option, but it helps that this one was great.
There is also a cheese “long pizza” that’s sort of a stuffed roll/calzone hybrid. It’s also veggie, but essentially also a cheese pizza, just rolled up.
If ordering the cheese pizza set, it will come with pasta that is NOT vegetarian, but ala carte is an option.
Cinnamon sugar churros, beer, wine are also available. Tons of extra seating on the second floor. Friendly...
