鮨 甚平 — Restaurant in Yokohama

Tourists are welcome here. Its located in an alley way and run by a very nice friendly couple. Only 8 bar seats n 1 table for 4. This place opens at 11:30am for lunch and i got here 5 mins after n only 2 seats left. Come 15 mins early to grab a seat. No one speaks english but the lunch menu had only 2 options in Japanese the 8 piece or the 10 piece. Use your google translation or point to what someone else is getting. The nice lady served me a small bowl of salad, the lightest bowl of miso so good the broth. I ordered the 10 piece set menu for 1800 jpy thats like $13 us bucks. Melting in my mouth now... i swear i could order another 10 set but they would call me the tourist piggy. My tail is wagging!! I did order a 10 piece to go for my friend back at the hotel. 気さくで美味しく寿司を提供してくれます。 店は綺麗に保たれていて、接客も気持ち良いです。 寿司はネタも新鮮でとても美味しい。 ランチで行きましたが、サラダ等きちんと食べ易く提供してくれます。 夜はまだ解りませんが、リーズナブルに美味しく楽しませてくれました。 全て美味しいのですが、一つだけシャリが小さ目で量が欲しい方には少し足りないかも知れません。 店が小さくリピーターのお客さんが多いので、時間を見て行くか予約をする事をお勧めします。 店内は多分常連の年配のお客さんが多く暖かい雰囲気に包まれています。

改めて「鮨　甚平」に行って来ました。 開店前、今日は誰も並んでいませんでした。 入店してL字カウンターの一番端に腰掛け、「特上にぎり」と「特上にぎり1.5人前」では数のみか種類も異なるか大将に尋ねる。 多少構成が変わるようで、僕は「特上にぎり1.5人前」をオーダーしました。 相変わらず店内は清潔でスタッフの女性もテキパキ動いて気持ちいい。 作業中に大将と話しましたが、夜は予約が効くらしいです。 まずサラダが提供されました。 サラダには酸っぱく無いクリーミーなフレンチドレッシングのようなドレッシングが掛かっています。 にぎりが運ばれて来ました。 鮪も白身もとても綺麗で美味しそうです。 まずハマチから、油が乗って醤油を弾くようです。 やはりなを食べてもとても美味しい。 巻物もふんわりしていて、素材の味が際立っています。 味噌汁はあおさと長葱の白味噌です。 食べている内に次々とお客さんが入って来て、知らない内に満席になってしまいました。 寿司のランチは回転が良く、ゆっくり食べているようで30分で昼食は終わってしまいました...
