The food was good, liked the spices, soup goes well with fish and chicken. I had beef though, wasn’t tender wasn’t hard, volume is quite generous. Went for a level 10 spicy level but was quite mild in my opinion (used to Sichuan and Thai spice level). Would be considered quite oily compared to regular Japanese food (soup curry was from Sapporo Hokkaido, not your regular Indian or Indonesian curry), the oil didn’t bother me but bothered my Japanese friend. Overall good, but not my favorite soup curry restaurant. The environment was a bit unclean. Sticky floor, dusty counters and greasy dusty decorations. The decoration was meant to have South East Asian style, Ganesha and Buddha statues and pictures here and there. Our seat has 2 Ganesha statues, 3 Ganesha paintings and 2 Buddha statues in my face, all of them are covered with dust and seem greasy. Perhaps most people wouldn’t mind at all but I was feeling quite uneasy during the whole meal. Staff wasn’t as rude as some comments mentioned but wasn’t as proactive or cheerful as some others restaurants, this wasn’t a big deal for me. Expected to be in long queue on...
Read moreBest soup curry in the area. Satisfied a craving I’ve had since Sapporo. No English menu, is on a higher floor you have to take a small elevator to get up to. Basic gist of ordering involved choosing type of curry (chicken, beef, pork, veggies), hotness level (1-10), any extra veggies or meat or cheese, and quantity of rice (100g, 200g, 350g). Not exactly sure about the quantities since it’s been a while but that’s all you should need to successfully order.
As far spicyness goes I ordered level 3 and that had me sweating a bit halfway through. I’m not a huge fan of crazy spicy but I tolerate it decently. I tried the level one we also got and that was unnoticeable. Going higher than 3-5 would probably be best for only the more...

Showed up 30 minutes before opening and there were already 15 other groups already checked in. Checked in and just waited.
Finally opened and glad I was able to get in during the first wave. Thank God.
I decided to just go with the chicken soup curry. Where should I start. It was tasteless. If I had ordered a higher spice level maybe it would have been better. But the fried veggies were meh. The chicken leg was also meh. I cannot imagine having to wait an hour just to try a soup curry from here. The rice was also...
