A wonton specialty shop near Kannai Station. There is a ticket machine near the entrance where you can buy your meal ticket. You can choose from three types of wontons (meat, meat and shrimp, or a mix of both), two sizes (6 pieces or 10 pieces), and two soups (soy sauce or salt). There is also a side dish of minced meat rice with chicken, which is also popular. I had the mix of 6 pieces of meat and shrimp in a salt-based soup. The wontons at this shop are on a different level from other shops. The texture of the meat is exquisitely elastic, and you can really feel that you are eating meat. They serve several varieties of the traditional Japanised-Chinese flavored wonton soup. The soup stock can either be soy sauce-based or salt-based, and wontons can be with or without shrimp, etc. There’s also a chicken rice. The dishes taste great and the staff are very polite (at least for a Japanese speaker, not sure if they speak other languages). I tried the original wonton on my first visit. It blew my mind. Something so simple was so good. It was super cheap as well. It was light and filling. The original was the best bang for your buck.

The second time, I tried the shrimp wonton. It was equally good but I felt like the price between the original and shrimp was the deciding factor that I will just always get the original in future visits.
