Pork barrel - almost everyone in Yokohama knows, when need cheaper but in good standard with certain levels of customer satisfaction.

This confectionery is top of the list. Packaging illustrations are simple enough to identify Yokohama city. Quality is also good. If you don’t know what to buy this also options.

Time to time we purchase this for home use confectionery or takeaway gifts.

You can make your own assortments, pick your choice in bucket & at register request box they’ll make a package. I always use this way, price per sweet may same but hard to identify price of that gift package since it’s not a standard set. Not every store will do this. Far as I know may only be this store…

Some people try to do but you are not able to add any envelopes, card into the gift package box since it may recognize as “Shinsho”- personal correspondence = under postal law you are not allowed to send any package with such documents.

The shop cannot be responsible for any of their packaging gift box to be used as such illegal package. So respect what they can do & cannot do. In general if you have thank you letter you want to attach to gift box, send it separately this is common sense in Japan. Some don’t know such common sense.

Next time I buy sweet will upload it … besides this shop has nice little cafe, give little break with cake or light meal. We probably spend fair amount there,… it may be good idea wait for your package to be finished at cafe or… If you trust them send all your package by private Postage they can arrange it,...

They just renovated the store itself and it looks nice but still a little small considering the number of people that come to buy sweets. You can get both fresh sweets and sweets that are wrapped and ready to be shipped. There is a restaurant at the end of the hallway but did not go this time. The service was great and staff are nice but it gets too crowded and while waiting for the items, there is just not enough space to wait. Will come back to try the...
