Ok, I live in Texas and have my entire life. I'm surrounded by ALL of the amazing BBQ spots. That being said - I had to lower my expectations as I'm in Japan and they're not known for having award-winning 'cue. But I digress. LS BBQ was actually pretty good 👍🏼. I opted for the Postmaster Plate which included:

Brisket - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pork Ribs - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smoked Chicken Wings - ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sausage - ⭐⭐ Pulled Pork - ⭐⭐

I also tried their Jalapeno Poppers and I'd have to give them a ⭐ as they lacked any seasoning, flavor and we're cold after the first bite.

Listen, I paid only $50 (¥7400) for a bunch of meat and potato salad, coleslaw and bread. It was a great deal and worth it in all honesty. I understand that BBQ is expensive, but once you understand the cost of meat, then you understand why. Add on the cost of international shipping the briskets all the way from KC, MO and it just adds to the cost.

We had the pleasure of meeting and speaking to the owner and he was very friendly and I could tell he genuinely cared about his craft. He is an amazing person and I hope he can thrive here in Japan doing something he loves.

All in all, a great taste of home while away. The smells, tastes, atmosphere and cold beers made me feel like I was back home for just that brief moment in time. I will return before heading home to Texas. And I'm...

Definitely the best American barbecue I’ve had outside America. I booked the massive beef ribs 2 days in advance for the weekend. They only make 6 of these per weekend and only on weekends. We also ordered the brisket, sausage, cornbread and coleslaw. Everything was exceptional. The beef ribs were fall apart tender as was the brisket. The cornbread was fluffy, sweet, and served as the perfect accompaniment to the meats. I do have a few critiques: the price is a little higher than I think it should be but not by much the cornbread for the price should be much larger and differs from the photo on the menu. For 500 yen I expect a bigger piece of cornbread a more diverse selection of sauces would be nice as they only provide 1 sauce and 1 vinegar (granted these were both great)

Overall I still give this place a 5/5 (I would give it a 4.5 if I could for the price and cornbread issue mainly). Worth a visit if you want fantastic...

This place is amazing. A must try 10/10 for barbecue (not just in Japan, but worldwide). I’m from KC and struggle to find good barbecue when I travel… this place blew me away. Pit master Takahashi has taken the authenticity of a US smokehouse brought it all the way to Japan. I got the pit master and all the meat was cooked just how you’d want it. I was lucky with a substitution of a beef short rib because the brisket was out. Wow, it was incredible, tender and full of smokey flavor.

I saw a review talking about the pricing being high, and while I understand wanting barbecue to be cheaper, the prices are on par for bbq in the US which is crazy since PM Takahashi gets his meat imported from Kansas. That all said, no matter what you order, that quality and taste of the food is well worth it. Hell even the pickles and bread...
