Had a lovely lunch at this really nice spot in yokohama. Decor inside is fantastic as are the serving staff. They were kind enough to bring a very fluent english speaking person to take my order and they were amazing - amiss of me not to get her name. The reason for the 4star rating was that the food could have been more freshly prepared, however, this place is known for 1 thing and they are the japanese fluffy souffle pancakes which they make fresh to order and hence can take a little time to come out to you - these were superb. I had the seasonal peach option which is only available this month and boy was i satisfied with my choice. They had deseeded a chilled poached peach and filled it with vanilla ice cream and this sat atop a stack of their pancakes with fresh cream and a peach sauce - what a treat. I also ordered a plate of their garlic prawns which were very decent, their poke salad and the new menu item of the Ahi Ahi all of which were acceptable. The stand out star of the show was most definitely their pancakes. A must try if youre in the area. These were most definitely a 5 star item.

It's quite popular so waited about 1hr to enter. This was morning on a weekday. Whilst we were waiting we could clearly see other diners eating from the lunch menu. Since we put our names down before the breakfast menu ended 10am we were told we were able to order from the breakfast menu. Once we were seated we wanted to order some items off the lunch menu. I was told we can't yet. The diners next to us were clearly eating bbq chicken and garlic prawns and also a mix of breakfast items. Disappointing but I didn't argue so we requested 3 breakfast items as we were quite hungry and were then told we had to order a 3rd drink if we wanted a third meal which we didn't want or need. The drinks nearly costs as much as the meals. We decided to just order the 2 meals. The macadamia pancakes were good. Tip: come here for breakfast!! The deals are so much better. Once it's lunch time everything is over double the price for the same thing.

Fast facts: Yes the pancakes are good. The Hawaii BBQ chicken is ok. The service is fantastic. Seating is huge(indoor and outdoor). The have seasonal specials (September 2021 it's truffle). They have an English menu and kids menu.
