This is the Lumine Mall location in Yokohama. I want to preface this review with the fact that language and translation were a big part of the reasons for the low review. The all-you-can-eat experience is different at this restaurant than those I'm familiar with. It's not apparent that sashimi is NOT on the acye menu. However, we were already seated and ordered drinks before we realized this (again, it was because we were presented a Japanese menu initially, and the waiter seeing that we struggling using our phone to translate the menu, finally came to his senses and brought back an English menu a while later. We just assumed they didn't have an English menu because why would the waiter spent over 5 minutes trying to understand our questions and drink order?). Frankly, I only wanted an acye experience if it had sashimi, but we were committed at this point. Secondly, it's also not apparent that you have to opt in to getting an 'appetizer nigiri set' that is pre-selected by the restaurant. That app set contained 22+ pieces of nigiri (heavily packed with rice), which looks great, but frankly, I could have done fine with only 1/2 of what was given (I would not have chosen roe, or mackerel if it was up to my taste selection). Again, we weren't given a choice on what was in the appetizer set. And if you don't finish the appetizer, you'll be charged the waste fee, which I think is not a good practice since I feel like I 'have' to eat something that I don't like. What restaurant does this? At this point you lost me a valued client. It can only go down hill from here; and it did! Once the English menu came, I noticed the good sushi options that I wanted (med torro, mantis shrimp) were crossed out because they 'sold out' of those items. Finally, specialty or creative rolls were not on the menu either. So we ended up with just a basic nigiri sushi experience with just a few additional salmon, tuna, and conger ell nigiri's after our initial app set. Every piece over-packed with rice. For $95 USD, we were hoping for more than this because carry-out nigiri sushi trays at the station tasted just as good but at a fraction of the price. Would definitely look...
Read moreI can’t recommend this place more. If you are in the area around Yokohama Station and are wanting to get some sushi, especially if you’re very hungry for all-you-can-eat, this place is for you.
Getting a table is hard, but the counter is relatively easy to be seated at. The sushi chefs were very welcoming and kind, giving recommendations and chatting friendlily. Maybe because it was a relatively quiet night, the head sushi chef gave us a few specially designed sushi. This might not happen to everyone, but if you are respectful and friendly back to them, maybe you too will get a few cool things.

2023年末に行った時には、最初の振る舞い寿司がとても美味しく、そのあとの食べ放題も良かったので、🌟5付けたいし、また行きたい!と思っていました。今回来店しましたが、別の店かと思うほどクオリティが下がってました……。
最初の振る舞い寿司は、特選ネタがなくなって、ウニとイクラ、あとは普通のマグロのづけとやりいかでした。 正直前回は特選ネタがとても美味しくて、最初の振る舞い寿司だけで満足だよねと言っていたのでがっかり。 ウニとイクラは美味しかったですが、づけとやりいかは普通。
しかも、前回よりシャリが酷い。ちゃんと握ってないのか、べちゃべちゃにしてるのか、箸でお寿司を持つとシャリがボロッと崩れるものが多い。
更に更に、握ってる人によってバラつきがあるのか、シャリの量が普通のと凄くシャリが多いのとがランダムで出てきます。
一番シャリが多いのは、回転寿司の二倍くらいの量でした。食べ放題で残してはいけないのは基本だと思いますが、そのルールを悪用してシャリでかさ増ししたのを出すのはお店として不誠実です。
なにより、ネタとシャリのバランスが悪くて不味い。 前回は高級寿司食べ放題と言われ「うーん、高級かはわからないけどこのお値段なら大満足!!」という感想でしたが、今回は「絶対違うよ。100円じゃない回転寿司に行った方が良いよ!!」という感想。
いろんなものが値上がりする昨今、8ヶ月前とお値段が変わらなかったのでこうなったのかな……と思いますがこれでは企業努力というよりも、ただの改悪です。
元のクオリティに戻して、一人辺り600~1000円くらい値上げしてくれれば許せるのになと思います。 でも多分、もう行きません。
